I was an Altar boy at St. Anthony's on Odell Ave in Endicott for about 8 years from the end of 70's to the start of 80's. When Maureen played "I am the bread of life (I will raise you up), the pew where Altar boys sat would resonate with the lower notes. It went right thru a person. She had a lot of years there. If I remember correctly she was there when they moved the organ up to the balcony. I bet I served at least 500 masses/weddings/funerals with Maureen playing on the opposite side of the church. What talents she had. I will always have great memories of her. Her passing is very sad indeed. My condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Maureen's passing. I will miss her conversations after Sunday Mass in the choir loft and her musical talent. I am not able to make the funeral, but know that my thoughts are with her and her family at this time. God Bless

I was very saddened to hear of Maureen's passing. I played the flute at her masses at St. Anthony's for years while I was in Jr. and High school over 30 years ago. Maureen was musically inspirational to me and arranged many brilliant compositions just for me and my flute. She had an enormous talent that enthused me towards a degree in music myself. She served as my mentor for many years and her dedication to her church and her music was unwavering. She made a difference in my life and will be missed.
