Millicent "Penny" E. Hust

Millicent E. "Penny" Hust, of Whitney Point,  passed away peacefully at Wilson Hospital on Friday, August 21, 2015. She is the daughter of the late Grant and Mary Alida Carley. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Donald "Art" Hust; her sisters Alida and Verna; brother-in-laws William Hust, Bob Davis, and sister-in-law Joyce Hust. She is survived by her sons, Earl (Sheri) Hust, Eugene Eldred  and daughters, Lynette Lidell and McKay Franz. She is also survived by her brother-in-law,  Harold Hust; sister-in laws, Claire Davis, Shirley (Bernard) Wade, and Rena Hust, many grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren along with a very large extended family. Penny was born in 1925 and grew up in Maine, NY. She retired from IBM and was a member of the Binghamton Poetry Club. She traveled with Art and collected rocks from all over the country. Her grandchildren Nick and Noah were her pride and joy. She enjoyed watching their activities, listening to their daily stories and watching them play on the hill from her porch. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Monday at Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119th Street, Whitney Point, New York  13862. Rev Thomas Mott will officiate. Burial will follow in Glen Aubrey Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society,  13 Beech Street Johnson City, New York 13790.
