Thomas W. Cummings

Thomas W. Cummings, 65, of Whitney Point was called home on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton. He was predeceased by his parents, Cordyce and Jennie Cummings; father-in-law, Amos Sturdevant;  brother, Robert Cummings and brothers-in-law, Larry and David Sturdevant. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Judy; daughter, Amanda McGovern; grandchildren, Michael and Izabell McGovern; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald (Barbara) Cummings and James (Susan) Cummings; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy (Robert) Dalton and Barbara (Stephen) Benyo; brother, Russell Cummings; sister, Linda Hook; favorite mother-in-law, Betty Sturdevant; brother-in-law, Richard Sturdevant; sister-in-law, Linda Lantz; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marvin (Debbie) Sturdevant and Amos (Debora) Sturdevant and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom had an amazing sense of humor and could always make others laugh. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially time working in his garden. He was a big New York Giants fan. Tom was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed.
