Sammie Rounsville

Sammie E. Rounsville, 74, of Whitney Point passed away on Sunday September 21, 2014. She is predeceased by her son Stewart D. Rounsville, 1 brother, 1 step daughter and her parents. She is survived by her partner Bill Kraft; 4 children, Pamela (Jeremy) Larmer, Jerome (Pam) Rounsville, William (Sherri) Rounsville, Catherine Homer; 4 stepchildren, Cindy Kraft, Tammy Hayes, Leslie Kraft, Randy Kraft; 2 sisters, Patricia Geh, Glenda Witzall, 1 brother Donald Knickerbocker, several grand children, great grand children nieces, nephews and cousins on both sides. Sammie was a proud member of the Rebecca’s and was Past State President, member of the Women’s Auxiliary, an avid volunteer at the Whitney Point Senior Center. The family will receive friends on Friday September 26, 2014 from 12 noon until service time at 3 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home 7323 119th St. Whitney Point, NY 13862.
