Robert “Bob” F. Murrer, 65 of Lisle, passed away on October 27, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert F. and Mary Murrer Sr. and by brother, David Murrer. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cindy Murrer; son and daughter-in-law, Robert F. and Kim Murrer III of Oxford; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Jeremy Somers of Lisle; grandchildren, Jackie and Jacob Murrer, Abbey, Emily and Olivia Somers; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Charlie Ford; 2 brothers, Jeff Murrer, Kevin Murrer and Tanya; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Bob loved his job and the people he interacted with. He was very dedicated and never missed a day of work. Bob’s prize possession was his golf cart! He fixed it up from scratch to look brand new. He enjoyed his rides to the river and competing with his friends Richard and Ann. No one was more excited than Bob on Christmas morning which was his favorite day. He was always first awake counting his gifts.  He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at Bob and Cindy's house at a later date.
