Robert Beavers

Robert (Bob) Beavers passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013.  He is predeceased by his parents, John and Doris Beavers, 1 sister, and 5 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jo Anne (Mapes) Beavers of 49 years, his son, Lloyd (Barry) Beavers; daughters,  Bobbie Jo (Denny) Lane and Billie Jo (Kevin) Knapp.  Also, his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Cherokee, Derek, Tyla,  step-grandson, Kyle, brother-in-law, Ed (Kathy) Mapes, many nieces and nephews.  Bob worked many years in construction and the last 20 years he worked at Wilson Memorial Hospital where he retired. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Dr. Readling and staff at UHS Medical Oncology and Dr. Haq and staff at UHS Radiation Oncology. Please make donations in memory of Robert Beavers to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends at the Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119^th St., Whitney Point on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM.   Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
