Raymond C. Frost, 90, of Chenango Forks passed away on July 21, 2024. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Verna; parents, Charles and Ethel Frost; and sister, Doris Stanton. Ray is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Lori Frost; son, Donald Frost; grandchildren, Chad (Nichole) Frost, Dustin (Robin) Frost and Trevor Frost; and 10 great-grandchildren. Ray was a beloved outdoorsman whose passion for fishing, hunting, and trapping was matched only by his generosity in sharing these hobbies with his family and friends. A masterful jig tier, Ray's creations were cherished by fellow anglers far and wide, each one a testament to his skill and dedication. His legacy lives on through the countless memories he made on the water and in the woods, as well as the knowledge and love for the outdoors he passed down to the next generation. Ray's spirit and enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A graveside service will be held at 1:45pm Thursday, July 25 at Port Crane Cemetery, 36 Park St, Port Crane, NY 13833. Arrangements are under the direction of Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119 Street, Whitney Point, NY 13862, and condolences may be sent to the family at www.nicholsfuneral.com.
