Michael C. Grassel

Michael C. Grassel, 67, of Whitney Point, New York was set free on Sunday, November 30, 2014.  He was predeceased by his parents; Alda (Charles) Grassel and sister, Helene Rucker.

He is survived by his son, Michael C. (Renee) Grassel, Jr., Chanhassen, Minnesota, daughters, Naomi (Anthony) Collins, Whitney Point, NY, Marie (Phillip) Robertson, New Milford, CT,

2^nd wife, Sharon Bennett, New Milford, CT., grandchildren; Patrick, Hayley, and Heidi Collins, Elle Grassel and Lana Robertson, and Birdy Buddies, CooCoo, Rio, & Snowbird.  As well as a family he referred to as the Clampetts, who he adored proving to him that family doesn’t always have to mean blood!

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119^th Street, Whitney Point, NY with Eddie Maslin officiating.

The family will receive friends at Nichols Funeral Home from 9AM until service time at 10 AM.
