Marion Lorraine Vroman of Berkshire
Marion passed away peacefully Saturday March 8, 2014 at age 95. "Granny" as many have known her was born October 25, 1918 in Prattsville, NY. Marion was predeceased by her parents, William and Nellie Judson; brothers Bobby, Buddy and Clifford Judson and grandson Keith Vroman. She is survived by her sister Ruth (Lewis) Andrade; sons, Roger and Kendall Vroman; Granddaughter Vicky (Mike) Kemmerer; and many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. She worked for Endicott Coil for 20 years and retired at age 67. She enjoyed gardening, reading, bowling, traveling, sewing and being grandma to all. She belonged to the Johnson City Senior Center and Quilting Club. She is also a member of the First Congregational Church of Berkshire. A special thank you to all of those who visited and gave comfort to her in her last days. Calling hours will be at Nichols Funeral Home in Whitney Point on Wednesday March 12, 2014 from 5 p.m. until service time at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Prattsville, NY
