Joni (Kathy) Hatenstein, 57, of Marathon went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 3, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Hartenstein, 3 sons, Charles (Lyndi) Krause, Jeremy Carr, Christopher (Reiina) Carr; 3 stepchildren, Christie (Jeffrey) Sayre, Jessica (Gary) DiVell, Ethan Hartenstein, mother Betty Flinner, 1 sister, Julia (Merlin) Rains, 2 brother's Joseph (Kim) Steveson, Jr., Jay Thompson, numerous grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.She was predeceased by her brother, Jeffrey Steveson and father, Joseph Steveson.
Joni was a member of the Killawog United Methodist Church and Killawog Fire Auxiliary.
Services will be held at the Killawog Methodist Church on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 9 AM until service time at 10:00 AM.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Killawog Fire Dept., 602 Jennings Creek Road, Killawog, NY 13794 or United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 103, Killawog, NY 13794.
