James J. Driscoll, sr.

James J. Driscoll, Sr., 78,  of Whitney Point died Mon. evening Dec. 30, 2013.  He was predeceased by his wife, Gloria Driscoll.  He is survived by his 3 children, James J. & Jackie Driscoll, Jr., Sidney Center, Geralyn & William Striecker, Muncie, IN., Tom & Jamie Driscoll, Greene, 5 grandchildren, Jim, Abby, Tyler, Isabelle, & Tucker, 3 sisters & brothers-in-law, Margaret & Oz Pendell, Lisle, Francis Haislip, NC, Mary & Ray Bieber, Whitney Point, a very special niece, Mary Beth Heath, Cincinnatus, and also many more nieces and nephews.  He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Whitney Point, a retired employee of I.B. M. Corp. and Raymond Corp., member of American Legion Post 974, member of Lisle Fire Dept., Boy Scout Leader for many years, US Army veteran and was an avid hunter & fisherman.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Mon., at 9 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Whitney Point.  Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the Nichols Funeral Home 119th St., Whitney Point on Sun. from 2-5 PM  In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bo Scout Troop 162, 120 Sterry Drive, Greene, NY   13778.
