Survived by husband of 42 yrs. James C. Eaton, son James C. Eaton II of Glen Aubrey, NY and daughter Tina A. Eaton, of Lisle,NY  
granddaughters-Kristina  Eaton (Troy Hohn) of Glen Aubrey, Danielle Eaton of Glen Aubrey,  Makayla  Eaton of Glen Aubrey, Jayme Eaton of Endicott, Leah Eaton of Endicott
grandsons- Daniel J. Eaton of Lisle, Kevin Eaton of Glen Aubrey and Brendan Eaton of Endicott
one son died before her Joseph Leon Eaton,
parents deceased Joseph and Lois (Eberlin) Merritt,  
siblings deceased -Walter Merritt, Wayne Merritt, Gary Merritt, Donald Merritt

she used to be a brownie troop leader for whitney point area , she was a cubscout/webelos leader in the early 1980s, active member for the whitney point school wrestling club in the late 1980s to 1992, she helped run the concession stand for the whitney point youth club for several years with her family,
hobbies were reading , crocheting, and spending time with her family
