Gordon Glezen

Gordon Paul Glezen, 93, of Center Lisle died at home with family surrounding him Tuesday, October 15, 2013. He is predeceased by his parents Andrew and Marie Glezen; brothers, Reginald and Robert; and sister Helen. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Virginia Glezen; sons, Allen (Judy), Barry, Dale (Mary), Gregory (Shirley), mothers of the grandchildren Jean, Linda, Suzanne, and Penny; grandchildren, Cheryl, David, Wendy, Amy, Trisha, Andrew, Loren, Valerie, Steven, Scott, Marsha, Marshall, Chad, Nicole, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Gordon was a lifelong Dairy Farmer, School Board Member for WPCS, member of the Center Lisle Congregational Church, the Broome County Cooperative Extension and the Farm Bureau.  Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Center Lisle Congregational Church with Reverend Bruce Glazier and Reverend Delbert Wemple officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 9-11AM. Funeral will be at 11AM with burial immediately following at Center Lisle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Center Lisle Congregational Church.
