Obituary

George L. Lounsberry, 41, of Whitney Point passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2022. He was predeceased by his sister, Jennifer Lounsberry; grandparents, George and Elizabeth Lounsberry and Guy and Beverly Sivers; aunts, Nettie Sivers, Sallie Sivers, Rebecca Lounsberry and Jody Sivers. George is survived by his children, Storm Lounsberry, Hunter Lounsberry and Morgan Simpson; parents, Bill and Mary Lounsberry; brother, Billy (Julie) Lounsberry; nephews, Remington, Logan and Billy Lounsberry, Jordan and Jacob Kurtz and Tommy Fremberg as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. George was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and canoeing. He enjoyed listening to classic rock. George was an amazing father and his children were the most important thing in the world to him. He will be missed dearly by everyone. Friends of the family may call from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Friday, July 22 at Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119 Street, Whitney Point, NY 13862.
