Francis Stevens, 75, of Whitney Point, formerly of Suffern, NY went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 22, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 49 years, Mavis Stevens and three sons: Raymond Stevens, Monticello, NY, Kevin Stevens, Pine Bush, NY, Todd Stevens, Whitney Point, NY, 8 grandchildren, his brother, Richard Stevens, Chestnut Ridge, NY, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Francis was a hard working, self employed, dedicated and loving family man. In his retirement years he enjoyed his grandchildren and mini farm.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 12 (Noon) from the First Baptist Church, Rt. 11, Whitney Point, New York with Reverend Ron Maslin officiating.
The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church on Friday, September 26, 2014 from
6- 9 PM.
In Lieu of flowers, expressions of Sympathy in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Assoc.,13 Beech St, Johnson City, New York 13790 or the First Baptist Church, Rt. 11, Whitney Point, New York 13862.
