Erwin F. LaBelle

Erwin F. LaBelle, 99 of Whitney Point, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean (Day) LaBelle; brother, Vernon and 3 sisters, Thelma Youmans, Maida LaBelle and Olga Marshall. He is survived by his children and families, Larry and Bobbi LaBelle of Binghamton, Joyce LaBelle and Richard Barton of Andover, MA, Bonnie and Danny VanAlstine of Johnson City and Beverly LaBelle of Johnson City; 4 grandchildren, Brian, Nicole, Joshua and Ross; great grandchild, Landon; longtime companion, Florence Hohn and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna and Reverend Thomas Topar. Erwin retired from Singer-Link after many years of service. He was a very active member of the Whitney Point United Methodist Church. He was a 4-H leader and was active in the PTA Roller Skating Program. Erwin was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend and was a stable foundation in all of their lives. A funeral service will be held 3:00pm Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 199 Street, Whitney Point, New York 13862.
