He was a proud uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews, who fondly referred to him as Uncle E, and a friend to all that met him. Eric retired from a long career with IBM in 2016. He lived a life of generosity and kindness. He was a passionate sports fan who would watch just about any sport and rooted for Syracuse in every game no matter the odds, but especially in basketball. He also loved playing games, making people laugh and supporting his family with unconditional love. He was first and foremost, a devoted father who proved time and time again that he would do anything for his daughter.
