Catherine Adams

Catherine (Eastman) Adams, 67, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend went home to be with the Lord on Saturday August 24, 2013. She was devoted to her family, willing always to help in any way, and she will be missed more than she could have imagined. Taken so quickly, and too soon in our eyes, but we that remain must and will trust in God’s sovereign plan. She is survived by her husband Kirk or nearly 47 years, son David (Pittsburgh, PA), daughter Michele and grandchildren Danielle and Matthew (Friendsville, PA), Sister Margaret (California), and Sister Veronica (Florida). Those that have gone home before her: Her parents John and Anna (Korea) Eastman; brothers John Jr., and Joseph; sisters Anna, Irene, Mary, and Elizabeth (Betty). Special Thanks to the ER staff at Wilson Hospital for helping to make her final hours as comfortable as possible. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, a favored charity, in her memory. Receiving hours will be Tuesday, August 27 from 9:00AM-11:00Am at St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic Church in Friendsville, PA, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace
