Carl Sessions Obituary

Carl W. Sessions, 61, of Lisle went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2023. He was predeceased by his mother, Janice Zelsnack; grandparents, Margie Backus and Thomas and Ethel Zelsnack. He is survived by his daughter, Kaysee Sessions; sister, Beth Bryan; brother, Kenneth Sessions; brother, Earl Sessions; brother, James Sessions; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and James Mayer; brother and sister-in-law, Nathan and Caren Sessions; sister and sister-in-law, Susan and Shannon Sessions-Hughes; brother, Raymond Sessions (Jill); brother and sister-in-law, John and Lori Worth; aunt, Marilyn DeBonis; ex-wife, Robin Castle; best companion, Jack and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Carl is the middle child of the first seven children. A little brother, a big brother; he was always there for his siblings. He would stand up for what he believed was right. He fought for and alongside those whom he loved most. Carl’s personality could light up any room he entered. He was always smiling, he loved to crack jokes and make people laugh. Very much like his mother, his friends were a very important part of his everyday life. He was a true kindred spirit. He always had a sense for adventure, spending time in places such as Hawaii, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, Minnesota and New York (Center Lisle). Center Lisle is where his heart always resided, from the birth of his daughter Kaysee, whom he loved dearly. He would always say “ My Mother and Daughter were the two most important woman in his life, that’s why God gave them both the same birthday”. He was so proud of both his mother Janice and daughter Kaysee. Carl always loved animals. So much so that he decided to make a career of it. He raised animals ranging from calves to chickens to ducks. He truly was one in a million. Carl will be remembered, loved and missed infinitely.
