Bessie A. Gruesbeck, 94, of Castle Creek went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2013.   She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore “John” Gruesbeck; granddaughter, Amanda;1 brother Arthur Bowman; 3 sisters, Ethel Spencer, Alice Ingraham, Rena Matteson, 3 half-sisters, Sarah Dickinson, Edith Garris and Lela Sullivan.  She is survived by 4 daughters; Shirley (Ed) Beecher, Whitney Point, Kathryn (Ralph) Dutcher, Rochester, Diane (Randy) Rose, Queens, NY, Janice (Stuart) Williams, Baldwinsville, NY, 12 grandchildren; Nicole (Jeff) Roloson, Jason (Kara), Jared (Alesia), Victor and Paul Beecher, Alison (William) Brubaker and Robert Dutcher, Joanna, Rebekah and Jesse (Candie) Rose, Andrew and Stephanie Williams, one great grandson Harrison Beecher, one step great granddaughter Kaelyn Roloson. Bessie was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Castle Creek. She was a dedicated and godly wife and mother who took joy in caring for her family. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 25, 2013 at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church of Castle Creek with Reverend Michael Maskell officiating. Burial will be in Glen Castle Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Nichols Funeral Home 7323 119th St. Whitney Point Wednesday April 24, 2013 from 6-8 PM. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of Castle Creek Building Fund 1130 U.S. Highway 11 Castle Creek, NY 13744.
