Barbara E. Pixley

Barbara E. Pixley, 82, of Marathon went to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 21, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis Pixley; parents, Stanley and Verna Morley and 5 brothers. She is survived by her children, Brenda (Brad), David (Victoria), Penny (Tom), John (Anita), Judy (Jeff), Janet (Shannon), Martha, Ken (Becki); 27 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Gary (Natholie), Richard (Nancy); 3 sisters, Carol (Gene), Madeline, Rosemary; and sister-in-law, Ellen. Barb was an avid painter and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She loved working and being on the family farm. She was a wonderful mother, step-mother, grandmother and sister. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday April 26 at Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119 Street, Whitney Point, NY 13862. Friends of the family may call Tuesday from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will be held at South Street Cemetery.
