Robert J. Ballard Sr.

Robert J. Ballard Sr., 72, of Lisle, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 7, 2017. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur Ballard; son, James Ballard; daughter, Laurie Ballard. Bob is survived by his mother, Uadia Ballard; wife of 52 years, Patricia Ballard; five children, Robert Ballard Jr. and Janie Rose, Penny Bridges and Ed Jalink, Tina Williams and James Hall, John and Freda Ballard, Sherri Ballard and Terry Welch; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; eight siblings, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing and he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119th Street, Whitney Point, NY 13862.  Friends of the family may call Monday from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home.
