James L. Aiken

James Levi “Jimmy” Aiken, 71, of Greene, passed away on Wednesday May 3, 2017 at Wilson Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Levi and Marian Aiken; brothers, David and Joseph Aiken and wife, Sylvia. Jimmy is survived by his children, Diane and Robert Duke, Raylonda and Roger Maus,  Iljeana Aiken, James and Crystal Collins and Jennifer Aiken; sister, Carol Aiken; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Avon Aiken; sister-in-law, Iva Aiken; ex-wives, Jessica Aiken and Charlane Collins;  11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. James was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the Navy on the USS Kitty Hawk. After the military he had several jobs including Phillips Foundry, Goodrich Farms and Raymond’s. He was also a fireman with the Triangle Fire Company for many years. James loved to hunt, fish, go to clam bakes and most of all spend time with his family.  A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday May 10 at 10:00am at Nichols Funeral Home 7323 119th Street, Whitney Point New York, 13862. Friends of the family may call from 9:00am until the time of the service.
