Albert L. Leet, 75, of Marathon, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 03, 2017 after his struggle with Alzheimer/Dementia. He is predeceased by his parents, Earl and Alice Leet; 2 older brothers, Nelson and Raymond Leet; 3 sisters, Florence (Sam) Morabito, Charlotte Truxal, and Margaret (Elmer) Hyde. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Naida Eamer Leet; 3 sons, David (Sonja) Leet of Fayetteville, NC, Robert (Nancy) Leet of Homer, and Mitchell (Rena) Leet of Richford; 10 grandchildren, Nathaniel, Natalie, Meghan, Lori, Elise, Ryan, Josh, Cody, Tiara and Jazlyn; 5 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Doris (Jim) Tuckey and Susie (Ron) Reynolds; Aunt Dorothy Drake and many nieces and nephews. “Big Al” was loved and respected by many. He went to school at Whitney Point Central School, where he also drove bus. He worked at Brewer Titchner/Cooper Tools of Cortland, NY for 42 years. He served as an honorary member of the Killawog Volunteer Fire Department. Was a long time member and servant of First Baptist Church of Whitney Point where he met his wife Naida and later were married at the church. Al and Naida raised their 3 sons in a home they built between Marathon and Killawog 48 years ago instilling in his sons the love of God and hard work.  A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Whitney Point, 2938 Route # 11  Whitney Point, NY 13862.  Friends of the family may call Friday from 11 AM until the time of service at the church. Please consider donations in his memory to Baptist Youth Camp (BaYouCa) 100 Camp Spaulding Rd. Smithville Flats, NY 13841 or Marathon Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc.  2 Peck St. P.O. 132 Marathon, NY 13803.
