Ward S. Peebles

Ward S. Peebles, 90, of Marathon passed away on January 10, 2018 at Groton Community Health Care. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley J. Peebles and by brothers, Bob and Jim. Ward is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Randy Peebles of Homosassa, Florida, Greg Peebles of Marathon, Lindsey and Maricel Peebles of Marathon; 9 grandchildren, Angie, John, Gregory, Robert, Trevor John, Kelsey, Danielle, Jordan and Nate; several great-grandchildren;  brother-in-law, Gary Padbury of Marathon. Ward retired from IBM Glendale having worked from 1951 to 1984. He also operated Ward’s Travel Trailers from 1969 to 2010. He enjoyed bowling and traveling.
