Teresa Seamans

Teresa (Fortunato)  Seamans, 52, of Marathon, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton after an extended illness.  She was predeceased by her parents, Rocco and Catherine Fortunato.  She is survived by two daughters, Cerra Fortunato and Libby Fitzgerald; sister, Barbara Fortunato; brother, Jerry Fortunato (Susan Mazur); three grandchildren, Jamiera Stanfield, Cordell Stanfield and Danaea Barry; and her special companion, Chip Johnson.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 974.  Funeral services will be held 11:00am Monday at Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119th Street, Whitney Point, New York 13862.  Friends of the family may call  Monday from  10:00-11:00am at the funeral home.    A family burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery following the service.
