Rosemary D. Seavey

Rosemary D. Seavey, 91, of Whitney Point passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Willow Point Nursing Home in Vestal. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard E. Seavey.  "Rosie"  made many special and dear friends during her life in Whitney Point. Her family includes brothers-in-law, Paul Seavey of Maine, James Seavey of Florida, and sister-in-law, Adele Timmins of New Hampshire. Rosie was born September 3, 1924. She was raised and educated in Boston, Mass. She met her husband to be and spent the rest of her working days assisting Richard in business. They retired to Whitney Point in the early 1990's.  There will be no calling hours and internment will in Rochester, New Hampshire in the spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to Charles Dietrich at  Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119th Street Whitney Point, NY 13862.
