Nancy Arlene McEvoy Cornell

Nancy Arlene McEvoy Cornell, 67, of Marathon, passed away after a year-long battle with cancer.  Nancy was pre deceased by her stepson, Travis Cornell and by parents, Ken and Frances McEvoy. She is survived by her husband, Larry Cornell; step daughter, Tammy and Phil Niver; grandchildren, Kimberly E. Cornell, Julia Arlene Greene and  Dalton James Greene; brothers, Chuck and Caroline McEvoy,  Tom and Joan McEvoy;  several nieces and nephews. Nancy was employed at Marietta Corporation (KIK), Southern Tier Plastics, Square Deal Machinery Rubbermaid, Resource Engineering and Cortland Asphalt.  A memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016  at First Baptist Baptist Church of  Marathon.  Friends of the family may call Saturday 10:00am  until  the time of service at the First Baptist Church of Marathon.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cortland Memorial Foundation for Cancer Awareness and Treatment 134 Homer Avenue, Cortland,  New York 13045.
