Luther W. Jamison Jr. (Lucky), 67 ,of Marathon, formerly of Windsor,went to be with his Savior on March 24, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Luther was predeceased by his parents,  Luther Sr. and Rosamond; sister, Frances and a son, Ernest as well as Judith and Laura Moore. He leaves behind Darlene Jamison (mother of his sons); his beloved son and daughter- in -law, Luke (Luther III) and Desiree; grandchildren, Haley, Alanna, Logan, Avagail, Levi and his buddy Tank; his sister, Star and brother, Tim; his daughters and sons- in -law, Tracy, Rich, Karen and Larri;  his grandsons, Rain (Samantha), Jim (Lindsey), Nick, Sam and Tim; his granddaughter, Sydney, as well as many other relatives and friends. Luther retired from the NYDOT in 2003. He served his country in the U.S. Army and did a tour in Vietnam. He served as commander of the American Legion Post #571 in Windsor, NY, The family would like to thank all of those who cared for him. Funeral services will be held 4:00pm Tuesday,  March 29th, 2016  at Nichols Funeral Home 119th St. Whitney Point, NY 13862 . Pastor Scott Rolison will officiate. Friends of the family may call Tuesday 3:00pm until the time of service at Nichols Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to The American Legion Post #571 in care of James Austin P.O. Box 6, Windsor, NY 13865 or Grace Baptist Church, Howard St. Binghamton, NY 13904. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.nicholsfuneral.com
