Kennard I Rozelle

Kennard Ivan Rozelle, 88, of Lisle, passed away at Oxford Veterans' Home on February 24, 2017. Ken is survived by his wife of 26 years, Edith; sons, Edward, Brady (Loretta) and Michael; step-children, Linda, Shelly, Emmett, Ricky, Richard and Wayne; sister, Josephine (Howard); sisters-in-law, Nancy and Gertrude and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ken is predeceased by his wives, Glorian and Rita; brothers, Jessie and Edward and sister, Sandy. Ken served in the army during WWII in the Pentagon. He was the Jury Commissioner of Broome County for several years until his retirement in 1983. Ken was an avid fan of the Washington Redskin’s and Joe Gibbs racing. He also loved to play baseball and listen to old time country music. The family would like to send a big Thank You to all the staff at Oxford Veterans’ Home for the care they provided to Ken. Funeral Services for Ken will be held on Thursday at 1:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home 7323 119th Street, Whitney Point New York 13862. Friends and family may call from 11:00am until the time of the service. Burial will be held at Center Lisle Cemetery at a later date.
