Franklin G. Morgan

Franklin Morgan passed away at his home on August 23, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Franklin was predeceased by his father and mother, William Morgan and Mildred Bryant; his precious granddaughter Stacy Ann; his brothers, William, Fred, Charles, John, Lindy, Jim, Richard and his sister, Patricia Monroe. Franklin is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Charlotte Brown Morgan; his three sons, Al (Lisa,) Lee, and Wes (Debbie); his brother, Joe  and his sisters, Helen (Charles Rounds) and Marylou (Marty Moreia).  Franklin is also survived by his grandchildren, Mark (Becky), Michelle (Troy), Steven (Wendy), Katie, Dustin, Rachel, Matt and John; his great-grandchildren, Alyshia, Robert, Derrick, Morgan, Emma, Ava, and Alayna, and his great-great-grandson, Weston, along with his dear friends, Dick and Raymie Pendell, Art Ensign, and Jack and Shirley Goodrich, and many nieces and nephews. 

Franklin was one of the best dairy farmers in the county. He devoted his life to his family and friends. Franklin loved making maple syrup, playing cards, visiting the casinos, his tractors, and his chewing tobacco. 

At Franklin’s request, there will be no services, but the family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date.

The family would like to thank Lourdes Hospice, especially Cathy and Courtney, who were both his favorite, for taking excellent care of him. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made in Franklin’s name to Lourdes Hospice 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, New York 13850.
