Carmella Russo

Carmella Russo, 58, of Marathon,  passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015. She is survived by her husband, John Russo; children, Nicole, Elizabeth, Tara, Amalia and Johnny Russo; two grandchildren, Bella and Cedric Jones; three sisters; and a brother. An amazing woman, Carmella was a loving and selfless wife, mother and grandmother. She lived her life always putting others first. Her struggle with cancer was fought with grace, strength and without complaint. She will be missed. Friends of the family may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119th Street, Whitney Point, NY 13862. A funeral mass will be celebrated 12:00pm , Friday at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church in West Babylon, New York. Burial will be made in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
