Anna L. Onufrak

Onufrak, Anna (Anita) Fiorini Stirpe, 92, of Whitney Point, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Anna was born on January 31, 1923, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (DeVita) Fiorini. She was predeceased by her husbands, Angelo Stirpe and Andrew Onufrak; sister, Vincie Rubiconti and brothers, John, Albert and Mario Fiorini. She is survived by her children, Rosemarie (Ron Miner) Stirpe, Ann Marie (Raymond) Yeager, and Ronald (Cindy) Stirpe; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, one great great grandson and two step grandchildren and their families; one brother, Peter Fiorini and sister, Josephine (Robert) Moretin. Anna loved to crochet and made hundreds of baby blankets for the charity M.A.R.Y. (Many Arms Reach You). The family would like to thank the staff at Vestal Nursing Home for their compassionate care and support. A funeral mass will be offered at St. Patrick’s Church, Keibel Road, Whitney Point, NY at 11am Monday, July 20, 2015. The family will receive friends at Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119th Street, Whitney Point, NY, Monday at 9:30 am until the time of the service. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Anna with a donation to a charity of their choice.
